TeamBalance ("we", "our", or "the app") is a client-side web application for creating balanced teams. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Information We Collect

Local Data Storage

All your data (player names, ratings, teams, activity configurations) is stored locally in your browser using:

• LocalStorage: For persistent data storage
• SessionStorage: For temporary session data

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server operated by us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to help us understand how the application is used and improve user experience. Google Analytics may collect:

• Pages visited and time spent on pages
• Device type and browser information
• Geographic region (country/city level)
• Referral sources

Third-Party Services

GitHub Pages Hosting

TeamBalance is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect technical information as described in their Privacy Statement.

We use Google Analytics 4 to analyze website traffic. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects anonymized data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Your data remains in your browser's local storage until you:

• Uninstall your browser
• Manually delete the data through the application or browser settings

• Export: You can export your data to CSV
• Delete: You can clear all data through your browser settings
• Portability: You can export and transfer your data at any time

Children's Privacy

TeamBalance does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The application does not require registration or personal information to use.
